I earned undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado-Boulder and my graduate degree from the University of Denver. While at DU I completed clinical internships with Kaiser Permanente and The University of Colorado School of Medicine. I spent many years supporting clients on their addiction and trauma recovery journeys before becoming a faculty member at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. While at CU, I began to focus on treating OCD, OCPD, and trauma. I also have teaching experience with psychiatry residents and masters level clinicians in exposure and response prevention (ERP) techniques, how to accurately diagnose and treat OCD, and how to treat OCD in conjunction with additional diagnoses.
I work hard to understand clients’ unique situations and move between models of therapy that emphasize behavior change as well as models that focus on understanding the root of our challenges and how to use the therapeutic relationship as the healing agent. I enjoy using exposure and response prevention, internal family systems, and psychodynamic-based theories.

When I'm not at work I enjoy reading, learning, spending time in nature and with people that I love.

Supervision
Are you an unlicensed social worker looking for a supervisor? Are you interested in being able to use multiple (and seemingly conflicting) therapy modalities to help clients with their anxiety and trauma? We may be a good fit.
